Celebrate the end of the Summer and give your body and mind a gift of relaxation, nourishment, joy and inspiration at this inclusive Day Retreat, set in a beautiful venue of Wick Farm, in the heart of Somerset levels, a magical place for heart opening and soul nurturing.

The Day to Nourish Body and Soul

A whole day dedicated to self-care, to truly recharge, restore and rebalance our whole system with movement, Sound, nourishment through beautiful food and time spent in Nature. This retreat is for women only, and the day is designed in such a way so that you can feel held, seen, heard, loved and nurtured.

The Retreat will be held at the beautiful Wick Farm Nr Langport, and for this special Day we have the full use of the indoor Shala space, plus access to the outdoor gardens, forest, pond, labyrinth and the secret outdoor location to explore on the estate!

Activities

The day retreat provides a  rare  opportunity to escape the busy-ness of the everyday and dedicate time and space to your inner wellbeing and wellness. 

 

We will nourish our bodies and souls with

 a beautiful movement session, Face Yoga, Sound and Gond Bath, gentle yoga for Forest Bathing, including a creative outdoor nature workshop.

The combination of these activities are unique to this retreat, and please don't worry if you've never tried any of these practices before. I will provide guidance and a safe space for you to explore each of these sessions, and I hope to be able to offer a truly special experience and guide you to the inner space of harmony and balance.

Nourishment

A delicious plant-based buffet-style lunch will be served to nourish our bodies and souls with vibrant healthy food.  Food is the foundation of our health, so in choosing plant-based dishes we can directly influence our mood, hormones, energy and emotions and bring more joy to our hearts (and our taste buds!). In the afternoon, refreshing tea/coffee will be served alongside a delicious healthy treat to delight us into joy and vitality.

Who is the Retreat for?

Modern living can take its toll on our bodies and spirit and the pace of life can feel relentless, which can makes us feel as if we are "on the go" all the time, with no real space for just being. Taking time out of your daily grind and focusing  on your inner landscape with meaning and attention, has a magic ability to rebalance your energy and recharge  your batteries.

The Day Retreat is suitable for all ages and all abilities, and especially beneficial  if you have one or more of the symptoms below:

- tiredness and exhaustion

- lack of energy

- poor digestion

- feeling of anxiety, feelings of not being enough

- body aches and pains, muscle stiffness

Price

The retreat is priced at £125 per person which includes all guided sessions, buffet lunch, tea/coffee & sweet treats.

 

The spaces are limited to 10 people, so if you like the sound of this Day Retreat, please book your space as soon as you can,  to secure your spot!

The program is designed to create the best energetic flow throughout the day, with plenty of space in between the sessions for you to reflect and connect. Some sessions will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Please be advised that timings may be subject to change.

What to bring with you

The day will be spent both inside and outside,  depending on the weather (it's August so hopefully beautifully sunny but one never knows!) so please bring light layers with you so you're comfortable during the day for any outdoor sessions if the weather is cooler than expected.  

 

Yoga mat, bolsters, blocks and a blanket will be provided, but please bring extra cushion/throw  plus socks and anything else you need for relaxation to keep cosy.

​

Outdoor shoes for walking in the woods will be a useful item to bring too!
